Current University of Alabama player and Krunch 23U player, Taylor Clark, came out to work with our Krunch 14U Blue team.
Taylor took time out of her busy schedule to spend two nights of practice with the team. The first night Taylor helped with batting drills, showing the girls things to work on to become a better player at the plate.
The second night started out slow as we had a short rain delay before we could get out and do any work. Taylor took this time to talk to the girls about anything they had questions on. She talked to them about how she was recruited and things that she has experienced in college. Once the rain quit, the night was spent with Taylor running a defensive practice. The team worked on the everyday basic drills of glove and foot work and ended with a little game that they play in Alabama that our team did well at.
It was a great experience for our team to work with someone that started their career in softball with the Krunch and has gone on to play in the Women’s College World Series for the University of Alabama.
Thank you for taking the time to work with our team. Hopefully we will be able to do this again.
